This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for sparksetgo.org and all associated apps, web-apps and add-ons found on this site.
We do not collect information from visitors of our site or users of our web-apps or add-ons. We collect information from you when you give feedback by entering information on our site. We may use the information we collect from you when you submit feedback to follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries). Our website only provide articles and information. Our web-apps and add-ons are hosted in the Google cloud and do not request, collect or store any personal information.
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
When using the web-apps and add-ons found on this site, all data, including student data used in the web-apps and add-ons reside entirely in the Google Apps Domain where the tool is being used and is not processed or stored in our database or any 3rd party server or database as a result of using our tools. Once installed, our add-ons will access the spreadsheet for which it is installed in. Other files linked to this spreadsheet by user action may be changed, updated or manipulated in other ways for the purpose of accomplishing the intended use. At no time, will data be stored anywhere other than the spreadsheet for which it is installed. Specific actions of specific web-apps and add-ons and explanations on how each is used can be found below.
PeerReview Pro (Add-on for Google Sheets) will access your data at Google Classroom including classes, assignments, lists of students, and the files or links they submitted as a part of these assignments. This is done for the purpose of organizing an activity (peer feedback) with these students and their work. PeerReview Pro will use the spreadsheet it is installed in to store the data generated from the import from Google Classroom. PeerReview Pro will create a form to gather feedback from the students and store the generated data in the spreadsheet. PeerReview Pro will send email messages from the account of the person who installed PeerReview Pro on the spreadsheet to the students for the purpose of notifying them of their portion of the peer review activity and forwarding the feedback at the conclusion. At no time will any data leave the accounts of the teacher administering the peer review event or the participating students.
The Simple Badges Add-on, when installed in a Google Sheet, will create a Google Form for the purpose of entering in data pertaining to individuals who have received an award or accolade. Simple Badges will also format another sheet for the purpose of creating awards or accolades to recognize the users. Once an hour, a trigger will fire to process recent form submissions. In the case of a trigger authorization error, an email will be sent to the owner of the sheet alerting them of the error.
The Simple Badges web-app gives a user a list of their awards as listed on a spreadsheet with the Simple Badges add-on installed. The Simple Badges web-app will use the Google email address of the user accessing this page to query the given spreadsheet for records pertaining to this user. Because the web-app acts on behalf of the user, the data in the spreadsheet retains it’s given permissions, meaning that no one has access to this data other than the intended users. The Simple Badges web-app simply displays this data in a manner that users may prefer over a spreadsheet and does not store this data in any way, or does it disseminate this data beyond what is specified in the sharing settings of the spreadsheet.
The suiteFlow Add-on, when installed in a Google Sheet, will create a workflow based on a Google Form given by the user. The suiteFlow workflow is organized on a Google Sheet with separate sheets for each step of the workflow. Separate Google Forms are created for each step. Emails will be sent on behalf of the owner of the Sheet as notifications and confirmations as determined when the user inputs the settings during installation.
